Florence and the machine

Del lado del genero Indie Rock está Florence and the machine, con su sonido tan particularmente inspirado en la música soul.

Florence and the Machine editaron su álbum de debut Lungs el 6 de julio de 2009 en el Reino Unido. El álbum alcanzó la primera posición en las listas de ventas del Reino Unido, así como el 13ª posición en las listas europeas. A fecha del 6 de agosto el álbum había vendido más de 100.000 copias en el Reino Unido, por lo que alcanzó la 2ª posición y la mantuvo durante cinco semanas. El álbum fue editado en los EEUU el 20 de octubre por la compañía Island Records.


El sencillo de debut fue "Kiss with a Fist", canción usada para la BSO de la película Jennifer's Body. El siguiente sencillo fue la canción Dog Days Are Over, al que siguieron "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)", "Drumming Song" y You've Got The Love. En enero del 2010, "Hurricane Drunk" fue anunciado como el sexto sencillo del álbum.

Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa es un dueto formado en Alemania, liderada por Tilo Wolff y Anne Nurmi (Finlandia). Mezclan estilos musicales tales como elementos del gothic metal, gothic rock, violines, trompetas y otros instrumentos clásicos. Sus letras están escritas principalmente en alemán, aunque algunos de sus álbumes tienen contenido en inglés, español, ruso, latín y finés. Sus canciones tratan sobre la soledad, la tristeza, la oscuridad, la desesperación, la felicidad, la esperanza, la desesperanza, la muerte y el amor.

Evanescence saca nuevo disco!!

Amy confirmó a través de Evanescence.com que la banda estaba trabajando en nuevo material para un lanzamiento para el 2010, así el 22 de febrero de 2010 Evanescence comenzó con la grabación del tercer álbum de la banda según lo anuciara Amy Lee en su twitter, que saldria a la luz en Septiembre de este año[4].
